Save on Fringed Tulip Collection

Fall is just around the corner, and that means getting tulip bulbs into the ground in anticipation of spring. WOW! It's hard to believe that you need to place your bulb order in August... so you can plant in the fall...and then finally enjoy them at the end of a long, cold winter. Talk about being organized and planning ahead. That takes the cake.

Unfortunately, for me I can't grow tulips down here in the south, but for those of you who can Blooming Bulb has reduced the price of their Fringed Tulip Collection from $39.45 to $19.98.

The collection includes 5 bulbs each of Daytona, Lambada, Crystal Beauty, Hamilton, and Curly Sue (LOL - my sister once had a cat with this same name). In addition, there's a free gift 5 Queensland bulbs included with your order.

It Pays to Order Early!

Since the coldest weather in the last 5 years wiped out many of my tropical plants (see Simply Susan blog for the sad photos), I'm taking advantage of Blooming Bulb's Spring Early-Order Sale (save 25%) to try some new varieties. I am thinking about some canna lily bulbs. Some varieties, including Black Knight and City of Portland (a particularly nice coral-pink) are on sale for $.97 a bulb. That's a deal that's hard to pass up. I can't plant large masses of flowers in my yard because of size restraints, but for those who do their bulk seed is a great price, too.
